Encompass Cares has a Heart for Haiti
With a country in desperate need of medical, nutritional and financial aid following the devastating effects of last week’s earthquake, the Encompass family knew they wanted to help.
The opportunity arose to make an immediate impact. The Encompass Cares foundation presented Senator and surgeon Bill Frist with a $5,000 donation to be used in his prompt and meaningful efforts to provide medical assistance to Haitian citizens.
We are also proud of and humbled by one of our own who will arrive in Haiti on January 25th to lend a helping hand. Encompass Cares was privileged to provide Colorado Springs Physical Therapist Misty French with $1,000 to cover her travel to Haiti. Misty is going with Crisis Response International, a non-profit organization that resources, trains and mobilizes volunteers, churches and other organizations to respond to disasters and other compassion initiatives in the United States and world-wide.
Misty, Senator Frist, all volunteers and the citizens of Haiti will remain in our thoughts and prayers.
