Thank you so much for your sponsorship of my trip to Sierra Leone.  It was an experience that I needed… to be able to open my eyes and see the tremendous needs that exist.  I was blessed to be a tiny part of hope for those people and I’m blessed to work for an organization that invests in such worthy ventures as this.  Bravo to you.  I hope many more missions are yet to come!  Thank you,

I wanted to send you some of my pictures from our trip last week. We had a group of 27 men and women who went to Olanchito, Honduras. We were able to build two tabernacles in two remote mountainous areas. On one location we had to take a two hour bus ride, one hour ride in the back of a pick-up truck and then hike one hour carrying all of our construction equipment. It was unbelievable and the pictures do not do justice in showing where these people live. The ladies were involved in VBS and I was able to help with these activities on our last day. We also visited and helped at an orphanage. I wish that I had not seen the children there because I wanted to bring them home with me. The pictures include the two tabernacles, the dedication services for the two buildings, and VBS pictures. I have been on several trips to Honduras but never have I been in such a remote location. These people not only have physical needs but need the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 18:20 says “Where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them”. Through the help of  Encompass Cares Foundation, these tabernacles can be used for a place of gathering and worship. Thank you so much for the generosity you have shown.
In Christ,
